"2011 End of Year Smile Token Donations"
The generosity of our patients donating
their Smile Tokens to charity was greatly appreciated by many local kids in need.
The Joliet patients donated a total of 168 Smile Tokens
$168 was donated to Woodland Elementary School to help purchase 4 sets of reading materials and a Read Like a Pro! Fluency Skills Center for children of low income families.
Frankfort patients donated a total of 389 Smile Tokens
$195 was donated to "Answers for Angels" in Frankfort, which provides books or gifts
to children dealing with cancer.
$194 was donated to Shabbona Elementary School in Bourbonnais to help purchase a collection of high-interest books, graphic novels, and audio books for children of low income families.
Morris patients donated a total of 100 Smile Tokens
$100 was donated to Camp 911, a summer program were children 4th - 6th grade learn emergency response and safety skills.
Plainfield patients donated a total of 58 Smile Tokens
$58 was donated to Plainfield South High School to help purchase iPod nanos and digital cameras to assist deaf and hard of hearing students with their auditory skills.
