Getting used to braces can take a bit of time — so summertime is the perfect time!? Plus, it’s easier to work through the initial discomfort, have access to brace-friendly foods and establish hygiene good routines.
Summertime foods are the best . . . strawberries, watermelon, ice cream, popsicles, fresh corn (off the cob), hamburgers, hotdogs, pasta salads and apple pie, just to name a few. And, they are all brace-friendly! Just remember to avoid sticky, chewy, crunchy or hard foods.
