As part of our mission to make a difference in the communities we serve, the team at Associated Orthodontists is kicking off our "30 Days of Thanks" for the entire month of November. Each day, we will focus on ways to express our gratitude to patients, families and communities.
On Monday, November 7, AO will begin a 2-week canned food drive to support those in need from our communities. Collected items will be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank — which provides food through a network of 900 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, youth and senior centers, and has a number of other direct distribution programs to assist hungry neighbors.
Non-perishable, canned goods can be dropped off at any Associated Orthodontists location from Monday, November 7 – Thursday, November 17. Clinics will have donation boxes available to collect the goods.
Those donating to the food drive will be entered to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card as a thank you for their support. The general public is also welcome to participate, and can drop items off at any Associated Orthodontists location during normal business hours. Participants are encouraged to contact their local Associated Orthodontists office to confirm weekly hours of operation.

In 2021, Associated Orthodontists, along with the 100+ other participating Smile Doctors affiliated clinics across the country, received just shy of 10,000 canned goods donations, and this year we are excited to surpass that number and provide even more families with meals this holiday season.
