Oral Health = Overall HealthIt was mentioned twice — so it must be important!!! Numerous studies continue to show a strong link between oral health and their overall health. The culprit? Bacteria. Heart disease, respiratory disease and Alzheimer’s are on a growing list that have ties to poor oral hygiene. Our mouth is full of bacteria, but with proper brushing, flossing and regular dental check-ups, this bacteria can be kept at bay.Related articles:Braces Offer More Than Just a Beautiful SmileOral Health and Overall HealthNutrition and Oral HealthGot Braces? We have been so happy with our experience and the entire staff! My 10-year-old son had a great first visit as a new patient. He was a little nervous, but everyone was so patient, kind, and reassuring, taking the time to explain everything to him and make him feel comfortable. Dr. Ramir has been wonderful as well! We’re so glad we found such a great office and highly recommend them!
